Margaret Holmberg, PhD, IMH-E® began her work with infants and toddlers when she was assistant professor at the University of Kansas and ran one of the laboratory preschools. Margaret went on to receive her PhD from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. After leaving Chapel Hill, she taught at Connecticut College; courses that focused on infants and young children. Then, as director of young children and families at LEARN, a regional educational service center in southeastern Connecticut, she oversaw a Part C program, early care and education professional development and was involved in developing the Building Blocks program, a mental health system of care for young children. Margaret served as the Vice President and President of The Connecticut Association for Infant Mental Health (CT-AIMH) for many years.
