ZERO TO THREE (ZTT) is a national, nonprofit organization that provides parents, professionals and policymakers the knowledge and know-how to nurture early development. Their mission is to ensure that all babies and toddlers have a strong start in life.
Examples of cooperative efforts between ZTT and the Alliance:
- To strengthen advocacy efforts, Alliance members sign up for the ZTT Policy Network and receive Baby Monitor, Baby Blog, and Action Alerts
- Alliance members periodically review written materials produced by ZTT and provide feedback
- ZTT will highlight and feature IECMH efforts within Alliance states in Baby Monitor
WAIMH’s mission promotes education, research, and study of the effects of mental, emotional and social development during infancy on later normal and psychopathological development through international and interdisciplinary cooperation, publications, affiliate associations, and through regional and biennial congresses devoted to scientific, educational, and clinical work with infants and their caregivers.
Each IMH association of the Alliance is an affiliate, or is working toward becoming an affiliate of WAIMH.
