The Alliance for the Advancement of Infant Mental Health® is a global organization that includes infant mental health associations who offer the credential: Endorsement for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship-Focused Practice Promoting Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health®.
Thirty IMH state associations and two international associations are members of the Alliance.
The ADS scale provides indicators of mother-infant, father-infant, or caretaker-infant attachment, screens for conditions as diverse as lack of infant responsiveness in autism or parental avoidance in child neglect, and can guide treatment. 2018 was a monumental year for the Alliance.
