Allison Blake has more than 40 years’ experience working on behalf of children and families. Most recently she was the Chief of the Unaccompanied Children Bureau in the Office of Refugee Resettlement at ACF.
Dr. Blake also served as CEO of the Child and Family Agency of Southeastern Connecticut, a behavioral health organization serving children, youth, and families, and as a Senior Fellow with the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
Previously, Dr. Blake served as commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Children and Families. She was also the Founding Director of the Institute for Families at Rutgers University School of Social Work, and Vice President of Accreditation Operations at the Council on Accreditation.
Dr. Blake earned an MSW from Rutgers University and a PhD from Fordham University. She is a former chair of the Board of Directors of International Social Services USA Branch and past board member of the CWLA.
