Christine Cole LICSW, IMH-E®
I'm a white, cis-gendered female living and working in Washington on the lands of the Coast Salish Peoples.I grew up professionally in Colorado working in community mental health with opportunities to provide infant-early childhood mental health services across different levels of care and began learning reflective practice. These skills grew through training in the RIOS model from University of Minnesota's CEED program, and supporting the development and supervision of a consultation team in San Diego. Currently, I support young children and families through my role at the Washington State Medicaid agency applying IECMH principles in policy and systems work. I believe in fitting the structure and style of RSC to the individual and group, though I find the RIOS and fishbowl approaches to be useful tools. I've supervised students (bachelors and masters level), home visitors, consultants, and clinicians, and am open to offering RSC where ever folks are at in their RSC and IECMH journeys. While I do not hold the policy endorsement, I would be glad to support those who are interested in exploring reflective practice in a policy realm.
