Rebecca Parilla, Ph.D., IECHM-E®, is a clinical psychologist who has worked at the intersection of early childhood, home visiting, and community mental health for over twenty years. She is endorsed in infant and early childhood mental health as a clinical mentor and is a recent fellow in Early Relational Health at UMASS CHAN Medical School. As the Clinical Director for Child First, a program of Changent, Dr. Parilla leads the efforts to expand and implement the Child First model across affiliate sites with integrity and responsivity to the many communities Child First serves nationally. Dr. Parilla has presented at multiple professional conferences on the topics of maternal depression, infant mental health, attachment, trauma, and home visiting. Prior to her current role within Changent, Dr. Parilla served as a behavioral health consultant for Head Start and Early Head Start programs for over a decade, developed and supervised an autism-specific early intervention program, and offered psychological consultation to various school and child welfare systems. Dr. Parilla completed her undergraduate work at Smith College (high honors in psychology) and her doctorate at Drexel University.
