Kellie Spilman, MPH, IECMH-E®, is the Director of the Early Success Coalition at Porter-Leath, a collective impact initiative that promotes shared, evidence-based practices proven to improve early childhood development and school readiness in Memphis, Tennessee.
Ms. Spilman has worked in public health practice for over a decade including assistance in the creation, design, and launch of A Step Ahead Foundation, Inc., curriculum design and implementation for Harlem Children’s Zone, and health communications work for Planned Parenthood Federation of America. She holds a Master of Public Health from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and is an Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health-Endorsed® professional through the Association of Infant Mental Health in Tennessee.
Ms. Spilman believes every child deserves the chance to thrive in a safe and nurturing environment and is committed to advocating for a community that places children and families at the heart of policy and practice.
