Lynn Roberts

I came to infant mental health over 20 years ago, after teaching and in the process of becoming a mother, and this work has shaped how I am and who I am, in expansive ways, including as a reflective practitioner. My hope in supporting infant/early childhood professionals is to leverage the evolving relationship as a model for self-awareness, trust, critical reflection, and change, in our work and other relationships, so that we can all Hold The Baby better.

My work identities include service to a Head Start/Early Head Start program in Denver, providing reflective supervision/consultation to home visiting programs and infant mental health supervisors, and a psychotherapy practice for children and their caregivers. I rely heavily on my training in Circle of Security and Child Parent Psychotherapy and on my relationships with my own reflective supervisors/consultants to shape and evolve my practice.
